Ippolito Fleitz Group designed Apartment S for an art-loving couple; the entire private home is centered on rich textures, striking perspective, and an impressive collection of art.
The creative interior of this private home evolves and changes throughout the three mezzanine levels. The main living level is open and free flowing, consisting of living and dining areas. The focal point is a semi-private carpeted social space, enclosed by a round, chain link curtain that matches the storm-grey walls. Opposite the freestanding kitchen unit stands a long, solid wood table surrounded by playful chartreuse chairs.
A large marbled mirror hung in the landing draws visitors up the stairs to the main living room of this designer house. Here, a beige couch sits on shag carpet, reflected in a magnificent concave mirror, which scatters the light from windows that provide a picturesque view of the city. A round lamp, composed of glowing airy orbs, appears to be weightlessly suspended over the seating arrangement. The third mezzanine features a sophisticated contemporary interior, which honors the repetition of reflective surfaces with a huge glass partition between the art-clad bedroom and luxurious master bathroom.
Apartment S is relaxing and cutting-edge, masterfully modern without sacrificing an ounce of decadence.
