We love admiring the offices of young tech companies, always so fresh and full of modern design inspirations – the new Evernote Headquarters by Studio O+A was designed on a strict budget and short timetable, and the result is spectacular.
This lively space features quite a few unique elements that would translate well into everyday home office design. For example, the reception area has a living wall made up of air plants arranged in a cute graphic pattern, a neat idea that anyone can replicate with a little bit of a green thumb. The blackboard wall features a hand-drawn Evernote logo by chalk artist Dana Tanamachi.
The materials play an important role in the crisp modern aesthetic. The rich grain of blonde woods and characteristically speckled cement floors provide beauty through basic material, fantastic light installations wrap decor and function into one efficient package.
Our favorite part has to be the tall ash staircase with integrated seating cushions – a cool little place for casual meetings and relaxation in a very accessible location. What’s not to love? The Evernote Headquarters is smart and chic, and just so much fun.
