The Excelsior Boutique Hotel in Greece

The historical The Excelsior Hotel was ordered to be renovated in 2008 by the owners, who managed to transform the space into a chic modern hotel by giving it an astoundingly impressive designer interior makeover.

Beholding the imposing yet intricate façade is a proper introduction to the refinement and attention to detail that is displayed by each and every room. The lobby makes an immediate impression with a brilliant crimson string of flower petal-like lamps which are hung from a mezzanine level that can be accessed from an elegant marble staircase or an exciting renovated old-fashioned elevator.

Each room of this Greece hotel features colorful installments of original artwork and splashes of intense color against a soothing neutral interior. Though it is surrounded by an abundance of places to eat and shop, the boutique dining room is worth a visit. Dark walls and stylish furniture create an atmosphere that is more intimate than you’d expect at a hotel establishment.

Only the most contemporary pieces have made it into the clean and simple interior – nothing about this space looks commercial or unwelcoming. Excelsior Boutique Hotel in Thessaloniki truly is a 5 star hotel with 6 stars in modern design.
