The super slick Ace Hotel in London is the newest addition to the fashionable Shoreditch area, and the interior design does a great job at echoing the creative free spirit of the neighborhood.
Co-founder of the Ace Hotel group, Alex Calderwood, was a loyal patron of the Crowne Plaza Hotel that occupied the space previously – he saw the potential of the location and hired Universal Design Studio to realize a bohemian aesthetic and attitude.
The bold rugged patterns and unique furnishings predominantly sourced from local craftspeople pair well industrial accents true to the manufacturing history of the neighborhood. Each room features a turntable and vinyl collection.
