The Hosu Chair Designed by Patricia Urquiola

What a cool design – the top half of the seat flips outward, transforming the Hosu Chair into a low chaise lounge for maximum coziness. Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Coalesse, this multitasking piece of furniture was built with the home office in mind.

Convertible furniture is a great way to save space but who would have thought it could be so stylish? The highly textured fabric choices are absolutely sumptuous. We love that the design includes storage pockets and convenient cord integration for electronics, along with a coordinating lumbar pillow for long laptop research sessions.

The Hosu Chair would be a hit in college dorms and office environments, but any space could benefit from such a flexible piece of furniture. We think they’d be an especially great fit in a home library or media room.

Is your laptop or tablet always by your side? Where do you go to get away from the desk? Does your interior design accommodate your favorite electronics? We’d love to hear all about your high-tech workspace!
