We’ve never seen interior design that so flawlessly integrates exterior landscaping with indoor views – the Solis House
on Hamilton Island really opened our eyes to the possibilities. Expertly designed by Renato D’Ettorre Architects, this home features warm and inviting living spaces framed with picture windows that give a view to the rough stone walls and glimmering waterfalls just feet away.
The main living/dining space features furnishings and textiles in all the shades of a Hamilton Island sunset, vivid against the concrete and plaster walls, making this one of our favorite industrial-inspired modern design spaces. An outdoor party area uses the same type of energetic contrast but with bright tropical hues – what a great place to read a book in the morning!
We would choose to stay at the Solis House over a noisy resort any day, would you? We’d love to see your opinions in the comment section!
