The Agence Jouin Manku designed the massive 32,000-square-foot residence and reception suites for 3 generations of a prominent Chinese-Malaysian family in Kuala Lumpur. The YTL Residence was designed for both private, guests and public functions tucked into a large circular tube surrounding a luxurious pool and several terraces. A combination of traditional Chinese mixed with a more modern style, the eclectic architecture is surrounded by luscious local vegetation giving the residence a truly unique look.
The minimal interior spaces are designed in an all-white palette showcasing and maximizing on the natural surrounding green views. The residence easily accommodates large business meetings, small cozy weddings, elaborate parties and events. With a ballroom that can host up to 200 guests – anything is possible! The complete house has 9 bedrooms, 2 family rooms, family kitchen with private and formal dinning room, family library, game room, swimming pool, study, reception area, 21 bathrooms, 2 guest suites and parking. The images give you a better sense of the scale of this enormous jaw-dropping project.
